Frequently asked questions

Can everyone be hypnotised?

Everyone except children under 5, the mentally ill and someone who doesn't want to be hypnotised.

I've been hypnotised before but didn't feel 'under', was I really hypnotised?

In most cases I would say 'Yes',  People naturally go into a hypnotic state about a hundred times a day.  Anything you do where you are not completely concentrating on the activity is a form of hypnosis.

I'm afraid you can control my mind when you hypnotise me?

Absolutely not! You are in full control of your mind and your body and fully aware of everything around you.

What happens if a fire alarm or something goes off?

Your body will react in the usual way and will wake you completely normally and safely to deal with any emergency.

What can you use hypnotherapy for?

Pretty much everything and anything. The worst that will happen is absolutely nothing and the best will be lasting change.
